The Venue

The conference, both talks and accommodation, will take place at the Real Centro Universitario María Cristina (RCUMC) located at Paseo de los Alamillos, 2, San Lorenzo de El Escorial 28200 (Madrid). Click here for contact details.

The RCUMC is placed just in fron of the Palacio Real de El Escorial. In the map below RCUMC is labelled with 2.

Transportation

Train  : Line C8 of Renfe  (click here for map with train lines). Departures from Madrid stations: Atocha, Chamartín, Nuevos Ministerios y Principe Pío. 15 mins – 60 mins between consecutive trains; About 35 trains per day in each direction; Between 51-65 mins total running time.

There is a direct connection by Metro  between Barajas airport and Nuevos Ministerios (see line 8 –pink line- in this map).

Bus  : Lines 661 and 664 from Intercambiador de Moncloa in c/ Moncloa and Moncloa station. Buses running with 10-15 mins frequency; about 77 buses from Madrid to San Lorenzo de El Escorial and about 64 between San Lorenzo de El Escorial to Madrid; About 40-50 mins total running time.

Car  : From Madrid, take N-VI road leaving at either:

(i) km. 18.5 towards Las Rozas – Galapagar – El Escorial (road M-505) or

(ii) km. 47 towards San Lorenzo de El Escorial (road M-600)
